Personality (Basic description) : Arturo Plateado is a very calm and collected person by nature with a cold personality and sharp, cunning mind. His ambitions know no bounds and he is often plotting some great scheme to take down the Soul Society. However, he is known to be prone to anger. Goading and edging him on can bring out a nasty side of him that often send people running. He has an air of superiority about him that seems to show he feels himself higher than others and to be a true leader. This often places him into conflict with others of power and he takes no discomfort in proving himself against those that stand before him.
Physical Appearance : The arrancar is easily on a level of Espada so his appearance more closely resembles a human than the lesser arrancar. His body is clothed in the usual attire of the arrancar, the white overcoat and matching pants with a pair of pants and black sandals. His hollow hole is located just below his throat and is exposed due to the open flare at the collar of his coat. His facial features are nothing short of handsome, sharp and defined. His eyes are also partly slanted and are pupiless and yellow. His hair is shoulder length a light shade of green, parted to one side. His hollow mask is shown to be a jaw which forms around the back of his head to a more prominent side piece. All in all, not far different from your average Espada.
History/ Biography : Arturo Plateado is old. Extremely old. He was said to be one of the first self-made arrancar to exist. While it's not a fact, his immense level of power seems to suggest that he was a Vasto Lorde before removing his mask. Some thousands of years prior to the events of the Bleach storyline, Arturo Plateado lead a campaign against Soul Society in a war that lead to many deaths. Eventually, with his power so great, he had to be sealed away to prevent his success. The spot of location was beneath the Sokyouku. So long had it been that the only ones who knew of his existence anymore were Genryuusai and Yoruichi (and only through the scrolls of her family). Eventually a time came when Ichigo destroyed the Sokyouku in his attempt to rescue Rukia, freeing Arturo finally.

Now that the power holding him was gone, Arturo once again moved into action. He sought some aid from those in Hueco Mundo (avoiding Aizen's group for the most part) and lead a secret campaign against those of Soul Society once again. Disguising himself as different distinguished persons, he manipulated those in Soul Society and Karakura to find and bring together the pieces of the Sokyouku. With its power of one-million zanpakutou he sought to absorb it unto himself and grow even stronger so that none could stand before him in his fight against Soul Society. This plan failed, however, as his presence was realized and he was thwarted by Soul Society's finest. Before he could be defeated, however, he fled once again to Hueco Mundo to regain his strength and plan another scheme.

It is rumored that he may be seeking an alliance with that of Aizen Sousuke...

Zanpaku-to [Shinigami, Arrancar] : Fenice (Immortal King, Spanish pronunciation for Phoenix). The weapon is a typical katana with the hilt in the shape of an H for the scabbard. While in use, Fenice gives a set of double energy-wings to Arturo due to the impossibly high level of reiatsu he produces, similar in fashion to the single wing of Ishida Uryuu in his Final Quincy Form. The release of the zanpakutou is never shown but he has seen to intensify such wings upon unleashing more power, their color changing from a green color trail to that of flaming, multi-color.

Sample Post : The wind was brutal within this cold and desolate place, each gust kicking up another hailstorm of harsh, white sand upon any who happened to be caught out within it. It stung the eyes and pelted the skin while the terrain itself left little to be desired. The sky was always visibly bright while their existed no source of sunlight. The vast plains were barren and dead save for the occasional wandering hollow seeking another meal or escaping the jaws of a stronger brethren. Hueco Mundo in all its pitiful glory, a place where one man could be king. With his strength he could dominate the lower beings which dwelled within and easily place himself in the seat of power. But his ambition was set higher. Why settle for such a dry, desert place when he could take the precious Seireitei instead? He would leave Hueco Mundo to the newly arrived Aizen Sousuke. He could take the world of the hollows and choke on it for all he cared - he wanted more. Arturo Plateado, standing amiss the roiling sandstorm flinched little at the thudding of each grain of sand against his form, his Hierro more than compensating for the treatment. Each step brought him slowly across the sand-land toward the white tower in the distance. Pupiless, amber eyes gazed outward at his destination while his mind calculated behind them. Hair of turquoise was blown about by the treatment of winds with his ivory coat billowing out behind him. Hands were held firmly within the pockets of that attire and his presence seemed so casual. But there was a lot on his mind. It had been a long time since he had been to Hueco Mundo. And things had changed. It was time to make himself known once again..

Oooh, he's sexy.
