He is always watchin her. You gotta have a thing to keep an eye on a girl that much. Not just because someone asked you to, he does it even when he doesn't need to.. watching her train with Orihime - only cause he wanted to see some women go at it. He also was the one who told Ichigo he was honored that someone would go to such lengths to save Rukia.
Cause he is hittin' it.

LOL. This is just funny... I never thought them as a couple... he's far too old. You can like watching over someone without having a thing for them. He feels a need to watch over her and he is her captain... besides, he's one of the nicer captains.
Its like saying he has a thing for Toushiro.... o.o
