Shiba Clan and Isshin Kurosaki

I think Isshin was tied to the fall of the Shiba clan. Or that he was a member himself, it would explain why Ichigo looks like Kaien. It would also explain why Rukia didn't recognize him due to how long ago the clan fell.

Does anyone else find it funny that the one chick from the Shiba Clan has a wooden arm, or is it just me?

In the manga she has a stub, in the anime it's a prostetic.

They never say how she lost it, do they? Hmm, Isshin might have some relation or it could just be look a like incident.
